JEASA Journal of the European Association for Studies of Australia

Vol. 9, Issue 2 / 2018

JEASA The Journal of the European Association for Studies of Australia invites you to submit original articles for the second issue in 2018. This issue will provide a venue for publishing full articles developed from presentations at the EASA biennial conference in Barcelona, as well as other articles inspired by the theme of past and present forms of nationalism. The working title of this special issue is “Nationalism Reinvented: Australian/European Configurations”. We encourage interdisciplinary approaches and comparative studies in the areas of cultural studies, literature, film, performance, art, history, sociology and others.

Please submit your articles by June 30, 2018 to the JEASA general editor, Martina Horakova: mhorakov@phil.muni.cz. All submitted articles will be double blind peer reviewed. Please remove your name and any indications of your authorship from the text and write your name, affiliation, and a 150-word bio in a separate Word document.

Submissions must follow these guidelines: Articles should be between 5,000-8,000 words long, Times New Roman, 12 point font, singlespaced. The title is followed by an abstract and 5-6 keywords. In-text references and bibliography must follow the latest MLA style of documenting sources. Articles written by non-native speakers should be proofread by a native English speaker prior to submission. A detailed stylesheet is available at the journal’s website: http://www.easa-australianstudies.net/ejournal.
